Qingdao Hong’an Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. textures and exports polyester filament yarn. One product carries the mill: DTY doubled yarn — two textured singles plied into one end — for labor-protection gloves, knitted socks and general knitting. Every order is made to the denier, filament count, intermingle level and machine gauge the buyer states, on our own texturizing and plying lines, and leaves with its test data.

The yarn is false-twist textured: POY filament is heated, twisted hard under tension, heat-set, then de-twisted, so the crimp stays and the twist does not. That gives stretch and recovery without spandex, a bulked matte face that covers well in knitted fabric, and, intermingled, a low break rate on fast glove and sock machines.

Doubling is the point. A single end breaks readily at glove-machine speeds, and every break stops a machine; two singles plied together raise tensile strength, cut stray filaments and wear better in the finished glove. Glove-machine yarn is held in stock from 50D/36F to 300D/96F non-network; doubled specifications are made to order from 30D/24F/2 to 300D/576F/2 against gauges from 5G to 21G, in three intermingle levels — SIM, NIM and HIM — with NIM quoted by default, HIM for the fastest machines, and SIM ruled out at 18G and 21G.

The plant is in Qingdao, Shandong, on the container routes out of northern China, with texturizing and plying under one roof on 900-series high-speed machines. Output runs above 8,000 tons a year to more than 30 countries, raw white or dyed to colour card, with colour matching to a buyer’s sample.
